Three months

It's been over three months since Lucy went home and I can honestly say that I am feeling much better. I thank God for the people who have helped us through this. It really has been a time of testing and I know I haven't passed all of the tests with flying colors, but I feel like the fact that I am able to make it through the day without crying is great! I know that Lucy is with God and that is the best place she could be. We appreciate your continued prayers as we try to live lives that will allow us to be with Lucy again someday in Heaven.

  3. I just found your blog. I wanted to tell you "you did good, Mama!" Love never fails!

I remember telling my priest once that carrying my son was the one, biggest, most unselfish thing I did for God. I never got to hold him. I never got to see him graduate from college. God got another soul forever to praise Him in heaven. I got the morning sickness and the heart ache.

Please don't second guess yourself. (I know that's a natural thing for us mothers). You were doing holy work for God during your daughter's birth. He would NOT have let you mess up the c-section decision.

I'm so happy that you got to hold her while she was alive. That hour was such a gift.

Keep going on in Faith. God has so many more specific love letters to give to your soul. Your heart is going to heal fully. It will be stronger in all the broken places.

If no one ever told you this, I'm sure your little girl was extra beautiful.
